PDA PROGRAM
The Professional Development Activity or “PDA” program was created as NCCAOM’s (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medecine) department of continuing education. The PDA program was created to provide an avenue for NCCAOM Diplomates to earn “PDA Points” (CEUs) for participating in recognized programs that apply toward NCCAOM recertification requirements. In turn, the NCCAOM PDA Department partners with individuals and organizations to provide these quality education programs. Gretchen Thévenau is a CEU provider for the NCCAOM and the SRCA Center therefore hosts continuing education courses throughout the year.
BIEP COURSES
The Bach International Education Programme (BIEP) is the biggest international provider of Bach Centre-approved training, with courses running in more than 30 countries. BIEP courses teach the core system and philosophy of the Bach Flower Remedies. Level 1 and Level 2 are usually offered as two-day courses; Level 3 usually runs over four days, and is followed by a period of home study. One of the core principals of Dr Bach was “heal thyself”. These BIEP courses fulfill this philosophy by allowing you to understand the Bach Flower System of healing and become an able user in order to choose the right remedy for you or your family.
The SRCA Center regularly holds these trainings, so do not hesitate to check the Bach Center’s official website calendar where you will find all the courses on the flower remedies of Dr Edward Bach in North America taught by Bach Foundation Registered Practitioners (including the courses taught at SRCA Center). 🙂 Click here to visit the Bach Center home page. Please note that this calendar includes all of the Bach Center’s approved courses, not just those held at SRCAC.
NCBTMB TRAINING
Nation Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks (NCBTMB) continuing education courses expand and enhance the knowledge base of NCBTMB participants by addressing not only soft tissue manipulation, energy fields, body movement, and business practices, but also acknowledge and demonstrate a holistic approach to the care of the client and self with the ethical use of adjunct therapies and modalities that impact and support a level of wellness of the body, mind, and spirit. As a certified NCMTMB Trainer, Gretchen Thévenau hosts regular continuing education trainings.
The SRCA Center also hosts Homeopathy and Bach Flower study groups. If you and your fellow colleagues would like to join our existing study group times, simply sign up by clicking here. Anyone interested in natural health for themselves and their families is also welcome! If none of the existing times work for you, do not hesitate to contact us to see if the center can accommodate another time.
